This is the "sister site" to my tribal pages at www.tribalpages.com/tribes/cherab.  This new site is the best brainstorm I've had and would recommend it to everyone.  It includes ONLY my direct line ancestors.  No aunts, uncles, cousins, etc about people I don't know or have little info on.  So the site will stay fairly small.

The Pace line of my family was an important part of history in Pace's Gap, NC. The Black side of my family settled in upper SC, the Burrell's in upper SC and lower NC. The Taylor line has been traced back to Newberry County, SC until I hit a dead end.  The Taylors ended up in upstate SC, Texas and perhaps near Rabun Gap, GA. The Boggs line were and are still a prominent family in Pickens County, SC. The Carpenter line is featured in a lot of the Foxfire books.

Much of my information was obtained from my parents and grandparents who are all gone now.  The rest was obtained on the internet using the Family Tree Maker/ ancestry.com trial.  This is the best program ever because it does all the searching for you.  Of course there may be mistakes but I've tried to be accurate.
